ChiOneWednesday

A group of writers in Chichester coming together once a month for inspiration, collaboration and sensation

A Field in Sussex

Wind brushes the field

Blows over the dry brown leaves

Slight dew on the grass.

Sun low, pink red sky

There’s a cold now, a slight chill

The dark comes quicker.

We’re on a break now

It’s time to leave this life now

Driving towards home.
